Established in 1982 by Mike Gee, Sports Travel South West has grown from arranging tours to Cornwall into a specialist sports tour operator covering the UK, Ireland and Europe.

Mike has spent a lifetime involved in rugby, from playing for St Ives RFC to holding senior roles with the Cornwall, South West and national RFU. He was awarded the British Empire Medal in 2015 for services to rugby in the South West and remains a hugely respected figure within the game.

Today, that experience and network are at the heart of what we do. Over more than 45 years, we’ve built trusted relationships with clubs, schools, accommodation providers, transport companies and activity providers, allowing us to create memorable tours tailored to every team.

In 2006, Mike’s daughter Nicola joined Sports Travel South West. Today, they work together as business partners, combining decades of sporting knowledge with first-hand experience of organising tours for clubs, schools and teams.
